Ring Sizing

• For those able to visit our New York store during any point of the purchasing process, one of our diamond advisers will precisely measure your significant other's finger size prior to starting production on the ring (s).

• If you are shopping with us remotely we strongly suggest either going to a local jewelry store to have your ring finger size taken, or using an online measuring tool if the former is not an option.  In case you are trying to keep the proposal a surprise, we recommend asking your significant other's close friend/relative who may have insight as to the proper size.  One can also borrow a ring worn on the left hand ring finger and have it measured.

• Please allow between 5 to 7 business days for all re-sizings.  

Measuring Tips

• Finger sizes tend to fluctuate according to body temperature, time of day, climate, etc- fingers tend to swell up in the heat and as the day progresses, and can constrict when you are cold or early in the morning.  
• The ring should be just large enough to go over your knuckle but fit snug enough once on your finger in order to avoid shifting side to side, or falling off.  -
• Many of our designs feature delicate bands so we typically recommend a tighter fit for our clients

Re-Sizing

• At Lauren B we provide complimentary one time re-sizing on all rings purchased. For those located in the Tri-State Area we recommend bringing your fiancee into the store so we can accurately measure the ring size before proceeding.  For those who are unable to make it into our New York showroom, the round trip shipping cost is $100 and up (depending on the value of your ring) and we will provide you with an insured reverse shipping label via e-mail. You will also need to fill out a Reverse Shipping Authorization form and include that with the contents of your package. Please ensure an accurate measurement prior to sending the ring for re-fitting so we can have the ring sized properly. 

Re-Sizing Policy Remote Clients

Ring size confirmations based on remotely provided client request are subject to additional resize fees if the following occurs:

1. 1) Required sizing is based on a discrepancy of one ring size difference or more of provided size in either direction (larger or smaller). Fees are applied at time of alteration based on design and exact discrepancy.
2. 2) Eternity bands ordered in a specific size are unalterable, and considered custom orders which are non-refundable/non exchangeable.
3. 3) Remotely provided ring sizes are considered subjective and therefore custom orders placed without an in-person LB sizing are at risk of fit variations, which we are not liable for.
4. 4) Multiple resizings of any ring regardless of metal content or band thickness may compromise its structural integrity and stone security.
